CHU Draft Analysis: Epitomizes what NBA teams look for in an NBA power forward. Big, strong, athletic and willing to pound the glass and defend the post. A late bloomer who has exploded the past year-plus after leaving high school as a solid, but not elite prospect.
Uses broadening frame, desire and explosive leap to control the boards. Instinctive shotblocker and shot changer who loves to compete.
Has extended jumper to mid-range, which only enhances maturing post game. A monster on the offensive glass who grabs everything within his long reach. Lacks a developed low post game and is not comfortable with back to the basket. Uses explosive first step get by fellow bigs.
Far from a finished product and has projectable upside considering his immense physical talent and lack of experience. Key for him is aggressiveness. When active, good things tend to happen. (Updated: 3/1/09)
