CHU Draft Analysis: Heart-and-soul of a talented UNC squad and unquestioned leader. Lightning quick floor leader with who excels in transition and understands how to run an offense. Rarely turns the ball over despite going full bore thanks to a low center of gravity and low dribble. Not a pure shooter, but has steadily improved range through hard work with a set shot to the pro arc.
Perimeter consistency forces defenders to play him honest and not simply sit back to cut off penetration. Nearly impossible to steer from the basket one-on-one and has strength to finish in the lane. Adept at running the halfcourt offense and anticipates teammates well.
Height would seem to be a liability, but has strong trunk-like body and exceptional quickness to compensate. Hard worker on defense, using lateral quickness and active hands. May be exposed by bigger guard in the pros, but he'll force them to work.
Declared for 2008 NBA Draft, but withdrew name following evaluation process and in conjunction with a DUI arrest.
