CHU Draft Analysis: One of the biggest teases in college for three years. Oozes with talent and skilled across the board, but more often than not plays with utility player demeanor instead of a star.
Jumps through the roof, has explosive first step, changes ends like a gazelle and handles the ball fluidly. Yet, most of his offense consists of shooting threes - which he does do well - and pulling up for jumpers. Has the goods to put up 30 every night, but typically waits for the game to come to him - which can be good or bad, depending upon whom you ask.
Despite frustration he causes fans who want more, is an exceptional team-first, glue guy who works hard on defense, rebounds well for a wing and can really pass.
Reality is, Budinger is what he is and will never force the issue on a consistent basis, so is a nice third option in the NBA who is versatile and understands how to play the game.
