CHU Analysis: The best player on a roster teaming with future NBA big men. Has emerged from solid prospect to premier lead man - in a draft loaded with point guards. Is a scorer by nature, but has floor general skills and they're rapidly evolving.
Is a blur with the ball and explodes left or right, with his eyes set on penetrating. Can get lost in traffic being only an average finisher, yet does a nice job creating for others. Deadly scorer from mid-range to beyond the arc and despite a slow release, gets open looks due to ability to blow by defenders. Should only get better running a team with experience.
Has all the requisite skills to be a defensive stopper, but needs better focus. Is very quick laterally, has long arms and quick hands, plus anticipation.
After entering the 2008-09 season ranked far behind the top 10 collegiate point guards, he has leapfrogged past a who's who of talented future NBA players. Still has plenty of upside as a floor leader and considering the big leap in his game the past two years, projects as a potential All Star.
