CHU Analysis: Hard nosed lead guard who popped up on national radar after taking down Duke in the NCAA Tournament in 2007. Has since demonstrated he was not a one hit wonder and continues to develop NBA game. Is more crafty than athletic, but deceptively quick and strong.

While a true lead guard, can handle a large scoring load when required. Loves to have the ball when it matters and is a true winner. Gets shot off using crossover, stutter-step, change-of-pace and floaters in the lane. Strong ballhandler with enough quickness to play up-tempo and sees the floor well. Penetrates well and is capable creating for others around the basket or finishing. Great competitor whose overall substance outweighs shortfalls.

Much like his offense, uses smarts on defense and has enough later quickness to keep up. Projects to be average at best and can be exploited by quicker, more explosive opponents. Quite often appears lackadaisical on defensive end, but is more than likely taking a break from expending energy on offense.

Will have to adjust to the talent and competition level in the NBA, cut has proven against the best in college he can play with anyone.
